She had head shots done before and only a couple were useful.
She figured that it was her fault. Her story made me so sad. The job of a professional portrait photographer is to bring out the inner beauty of anyone! What the photographer sees in her subject is what shows in the final images.
A professional has studied faces and angles and is able to make suggestions to bring out your best features. A professional knows how to give examples and directions in a way that makes you feel confident rather than instead of awkward.

That’s the kind of bond a photographer and her subject needs to have to make great photographs! Don’t let ANYONE make you feel like you aren’t photogenic!
